Online Training

Welcome to e-Training, a Web-based Training System

Presented by the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water in conjunction with SunCoast Learning Systems.

e-Training offers water and wastewater operators in Indiana the opportunity to access education, training and continuing education units ( CEUs ) via the Internet, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. e-Training enables water supply professionals to obtain education and training credit hours through self-paced courses. All online courses offered by the Alliance have been approved by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM).

How to Start

  1. First, complete the online registration. You will be asked to provide your name, company name, address, social security number, e-mail, and telephone number.
  2. Second, enroll in and pay for the course you wish to take. Payments made through the online credit card transaction (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) are usually approved within seconds. Payments by check or money order will take longer to allow for bank processing (usually 10 business days after receipt by AIRW). Send checks (payable to Alliance of Indiana Rural Water) to: Alliance of Indiana Rural Water, P.O. Box 789, Franklin, IN 46131. Please indicate the student"s name and the course title on the check.
  3. Once you are enrolled, log in under "Registered User" and click on "Take My Course". Select the course you wish to take and click on "Course Menu". This will take you to the Course Menu where you will select the first module by clicking on the radio button and clicking on the "Launch" button at the bottom of the page. Make sure you have disabled your browser"s "pop-up" blocker or the course will not appear.

Students move through the e-Training courses at their own pace. The system allows a student to exit and return to the course at any time. A quiz at the end of each module reinforces the student"s knowledge of the subject matter. You must master 70% of the material in each module to advance to the next module. Students have 12 months from the date of enrollment to complete and pass the e-Training course.
