Local Man Wins Award
Ted Stubbs, District Manager for Brookville Lake Regional Waste District, was awarded "Manager of the Year" from Alliance of Indiana Rural Water during their Spring Conference held in Bloomington, IN on March 20th.
Ted is a past officer and the founding member of the Indiana Regional Sewer District Association. He is also a member of the Union County Development Corporation, Rural Wastewater Task Force, and the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water. He is also the Chairman of the Whitewater Valley Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Mr. Stubbs has 2 sons and has been married for 24 years. He is a United States Army Veteran and a graduate of Ball State University.
The Alliance of Indiana Rural Water is one of the primary providers of training for water system and wastewater system Operators, as well as support for City Officials, Office Personnel and Managers. The organization supplies up-to-date, accurate information on system requirements from IDEM and EPA for water and wastewater systems, providing a valuable meeting ground for system operators and regulatory agencies. The Alliance also provides on-site technical assistance and training to the water and wastewater systems of Indiana on a daily basis.
