Effective Utility Management

Designed to introduce best practices for the sustainable management of small water and wastewater utilities. This course includes instruction and assistance on how to conduct a utility self-assessment and how to develop an action plan and prioritize actions when resources are limited. This course is targeted to Council members, District Boards, and Clerk/Treasurers.

You will learn how to:

  • Deliver increasingly efficient and higher quality services.
  • Improve long-term sustainability and increase resiliency.
  • Use ten key management areas and self assessment to focus on most pressing challenges first.
  • Use the Small Systems Guidebook to Effective Utility Management to make improvements at your system

Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2020 CLASS IS FULL.

Time: 9:00am—3:30pm (local time)

Contact Hours: 6 Technical Wastewater and 6 General Water

Cost: $25 Members / $50 Non-Members / FREE if no CEUs are needed
