With the increase in WWTPs need to meet phosphorous limits, this session will focus on coagulant chemicals used for coagulation prior to flocculation and eventually sedimentation. Also, it will cover the use of chemicals to start the removal process of heavy metals in industries, which is followed by the coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation procedures. Finally, there will be coverage of the disposal of said contaminants mentioned above.
