Sales Support Representative - Best Equipment

Best Equipment Company is a well-established family owned and operated equipment dealership in the Midwest. Best Equipment offers premium name brands in recycling, solid waste, sweeping, litter control, storm water, and sewer equipment, primarily to municipalities as well as private contractors. Best Equipment is currently seeking a highly motivated professional looking for a long-term career in underground camera sales support. This professional will be responsible for maintaining the satisfaction of existing customers in all of Best Equipment’s sales territories. A background in municipal equipment and/or pipeline inspection equipment is required. Training will be provided at a high level throughout the career.

Position - Envirosight Sales Support

Territory - Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Best Equipment sales team
  • Provide support to customer after Envirosight sales, including delivery and training
  • Assist customers with software and service support
  • Recommend additional products, services, upgrades and improvements to current and potential customers
  • Send leads to Sales Manager
  • Provide consultative solutions to prospects and customers
  • Prepare and conduct one on one or group presentations
  • Demonstrate Envirosight equipment
  • Attend and work local, regional, and national trade shows
  • Assist sales team to manage and prepare bids, quotes, request for proposals/quotes, contracts, etc
  • Continuously maintain and develop current product and industry knowledge
  • Identify and resolve client concerns
  • Attend required sales and dealer meetings
  • Work closely with parts and service departments
  • Other duties as assigned

Travel and Schedule

  • Significant travel within three-state territory
  • Overnight stays necessary
  • Occasional overnight trips required for trade shows, events, and meetings
  • National travel will be required for training and trade shows
  • When not scheduled for in-field appointment, business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday
