Indiana Legislative Session Wrap-Up: Key Bills and Policy Changes to Watch
The Bose Public Affairs Group’s Legislative Report recaps the 2026 Indiana General Assembly, which wrapped up February 27 as one of the shortest sessions in state history. Despite the fast pace, lawmakers passed 163 bills, including measures affecting housing, local government, sewer grease control, transportation, and immigration policy. The report offers a helpful snapshot of major legislation and what those policy changes could mean for Indiana communities in the months ahead.
Bose Public Affairs Group is contracted by the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water to advocate on behalf of our members at the Statehouse. Their team brings deep experience, strong relationships, and a thorough understanding of the legislative process, ensuring the needs and priorities of rural water and wastewater utilities are proactively represented and effectively communicated.
