Election Information
Participate in annual elections and help guide the future of the association.
Elections take place during the Annual Membership Meeting at Fall Conference in Fort Wayne, with ballots completed electronically.
To vote for Utility Board candidates, each Active Member must certify one voting delegate who will attend the meeting in person; proxy voting is not permitted. For the 2026 election, submit the required form by Wednesday, October 14, at 1:30 p.m.—visit our Certification of Delegates page for details and the form.
For the Associate Member Board representative and Advisory Council elections, only one ballot per Associate Member company or organization will be counted in each election.

2026 Ballots
Nominations are closed for the 2026 election. The following candidates will appear on this year’s ballots. Elected candidates will serve three-year terms beginning January 1, 2027, and ending December 31, 2029.
Utility Board of Directors — Three At-Large Seats
Utility Board Directors guide AIRW’s policies, programs, finances, and overall direction.

Chris Martin — City of Winchester Wastewater Treatment Plant
These seats are currently held by Gene Eaton, who is retiring at the end of 2026; Tyler Steury, who was appointed to complete an existing term; and Chris Martin.
Associate Member Board Representative — One Seat
The Associate Member Board representative helps lead the Advisory Council and brings Associate Member perspectives, recommendations, and industry insight to the Utility Board.

Associate Member Advisory Council — Three Seats
The Advisory Council provides feedback and recommendations on events, training programs, conference booth assignments, and other matters affecting AIRW’s Associate Members.
