Alliance of Indiana Rural Water Participation and Behavior Conduct Policy

The Alliance of Indiana Rural Water (AIRW) is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and professional environment for all participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, staff, and volunteers, at our events, trainings, and activities.

Regardless of membership class, all individuals participating in AIRW-sponsored activities are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, and respect toward others. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or any form of disruptive behavior—whether verbal, physical, or visual—will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Harassment or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or any protected status.
  • Unwelcome verbal or physical conduct, inappropriate comments, or offensive behavior.
  • Disruptive or disrespectful actions that interfere with the participation and experience of others.
  • Any conduct that creates, or contributes to, an unsafe or hostile environment.
  • Any other conduct which, in AIRW’s sole discretion, is deemed inappropriate or detrimental to AIRW’s reputation, mission, purposes, activities, and/or events.

AIRW, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to take any and all necessary and appropriate action, including but not limited to removal from any event, training, or activity without refund, in response to violations of this policy. AIRW further reserves the right to prohibit individuals from attending future AIRW events, trainings, or activities. By registering for or attending an AIRW event, participants, regardless of membership class, acknowledge and agree to abide by these expectations. If any participant experiences or witnesses inappropriate behavior, they are encouraged to report it to AIRW staff immediately.

AIRW’s goal is to provide a welcoming and respectful atmosphere for all, and thus appreciates your cooperation in maintaining a positive and professional environment.

Photo & Media Release

By registering for and attending this event, I grant the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water (AIRW) and its representatives permission to photograph, video record, and/or audio record me during the event. I further authorize AIRW to use my name, image, likeness, and voice in photographs, videos, recordings, and other promotional or educational materials related to the event or the organization, in any media now known or later developed, without compensation or additional permission.

I understand that these materials may be used for marketing, educational, archival, or promotional purposes by AIRW.
