Calculate pounds of solids within treatment processes.

Calculate and interpret Sludge Volume Index (SVI).

Calculate and evaluate Food-to-Microorganism (F/M) ratios.

Analyze operational trends to improve treatment efficiency and process stability.

Recognize common causes of treatment plant process upsets.

Apply troubleshooting techniques to diagnose operational problems.

Recommend corrective actions to restore and maintain optimal plant performance.
