Course Description:
This session is designed to help wastewater operators build a solid understanding of the basics of their NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) permit. Participants will explore the history and purpose of the program, review the different sections of a permit, and learn strategies for staying organized with key dates, testing requirements, and reporting deadlines. The course will also highlight common errors made by operators and provide practical tips to avoid them.

By the end of this course, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify and manage permit requirements, testing schedules, and reporting obligations.
