Course Description

This course provides participants with a practical understanding of water distribution systems and the critical infrastructure that supports reliable water delivery. The session focuses on the function, operation, maintenance, and inspection of valves, pipes, and fire hydrants within a distribution network. Participants will learn how these components work together to ensure system reliability, water quality, operational efficiency, and public safety. Through discussion of common system configurations, component types, and field best practices, attendees will gain knowledge that can be applied to everyday distribution system operations and maintenance activities.
