Course Description:
Water Audit Validator Review:
This class will guide participants step by step through the process of completing a water audit from start to finish. Attendees will learn who should be involved in the audit, what data each participant provides, and how to interpret the validity grading. The session will also cover best practices for recording clear notes, identifying areas within the system to address accountable water, and troubleshooting common issues. A mock audit will be conducted to demonstrate how to correct errors that may arise from insufficient or incomplete data, giving operators practical tools to apply in their own systems.
Energy Efficiency:
This course provides water and wastewater professionals with an introduction to energy efficiency principles and the value of conducting utility energy audits. Participants will learn how energy is
consumed throughout treatment and distribution/collection systems, identify common sources of energy loss, and review practical strategies for reducing operating costs while maintaining system
