Course Description:
This class will guide participants step by step through the process of completing a water audit from start to finish. Attendees will learn who should be involved in the audit, what data each participant provides, and how to interpret the validity grading. The session will also cover best practices for recording clear notes, identifying areas within the system to address accountable water, and troubleshooting common issues. A mock audit will be conducted to demonstrate how to correct errors that may arise from insufficient or incomplete data, giving operators practical tools to apply in their own systems.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the key personnel and data sources involved in a water audit.

  • Interpret and apply validity grading to audit results.

  • Record clear and accurate notes to support findings.

  • Recognize and address areas in the system that impact accountable water.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve errors during the audit process through hands-on practice.
