Course Description:
This session connects professionals from water systems, conservation, farming, and rural utilities to explore practical strategies for protecting Indiana’s water resources. Participants will gain insights into the current state of Indiana’s water supply, source water protection, local water testing, and the role of agricultural practices in supporting cleaner water. The program will also highlight available funding opportunities and resources through local and federal programs.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe current challenges and opportunities related to local water supply.
- Explain how communities can protect and manage their drinking water sources.
- Interpret findings from water quality and availability resources and apply them to decision-making.
