Our Southern & Northern Expos held last month were both big successes. Between our demonstrators and operators, we had over 500 people in attendance at our Expos this year! The weather in Huntingburg was absolute perfection, and although it was a bit brisk in Akron, there wasn’t a drop of rain. Each day was filled with demos, contests, networking, and…eating! We piled our plates high with some delicious food, thanks to our lunch sponsors. Both events also featured our 'famous' hog roast, graciously donated and cooked by Water Solutions Unlimited.
The Meter Toss, Backhoe Rodeos, and the Expoo Royal Flush contests provided chances to win cash and prizes and didn't disappoint on the fun! 1st Place for each contest won $50 cash, and 2nd Place won an Alliance camping chair. The winner of the 2nd Regional Water Taste Test in Huntingburg was Veolia Water with the City of Boonville! In Akron, the 3rd Regional Water Taste Test Winner was the City of Auburn! Congratulations to each of them! They will advance to the Best Tasting Water in Indiana Contest to be held at the Grand Wayne Convention Center during our Fall Conference.
